Maverick Converter Mandrel: FG to HP is a stainless steel sleeve that fits over high-speed (friction grip) shanks enabling use in straight handpieces, allowing the use of high-speed burs in a low-speed environment. Its outer diameter is designed to match the standard HP shank, 2.35mm, and its inner diameter is precisely machined to accept a standard FG bur shank, 1.6mm.
